Gulfstream Portmanteau
The Gulfstream Portmanteau is a packaging concept developed during my internship at Gulfstream Aerospace. The Portmanteau would be customized to reflect the material choices of the buyer. Inside would be a model of the jet featuring the graphics and paint found on the full size aircraft and samples of interior leathers, fabrics and plating.
To find inspiration for the Portmanteau I looked to the experience of flying on a Gulfstream. This brought me to the fine dining available on a business jet as well as the attire, a finely tailored suit.
The Portmanteau is inspired by the folds of a finely tailored suit and elegantly designed cutlery.
